What the data covers

Each row is one company. The files include:

• Company details: company number and name, status, category, registered office address, incorporation date, and the next due dates for accounts and the confirmation statement
• Industry: up to four SIC codes, each with its description
• Financial figures: such as turnover, profit or loss, operating profit, net assets or liabilities, net current assets, total, current, fixed and intangible assets, and cash at bank
• People: the average number of employees; in the extended file, officers (directors) and persons with significant control as JSON

Every field is described in the bulk data format documentation. Any field included in iXBRL/XBRL submissions to Companies House can be added on request.

We continuously enrich our bulk data exports by adding new columns over time. New columns will always be added at the end of each row. Rest assured, existing columns will never be modified, renamed, or removed, so your integrations remain stable. Please design your integrations to accommodate new columns as we expand the dataset to provide you with even more valuable insights.
